"Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast"

A few promo photos from the Tim Burton remake of Alice in Wonderland have been released (the actual film isn't due for release until March 2010) and the characters are predictably warped, which I almost think is a shame when to see them looking a little more "real" may have made the film that little bit more disturbing. Anyway the cast consists of the usual duo of Depp and Bonham-Carter but I can foresee Anne Hathaway being ripped to shreds by critics for her part as the White Witch. I'm intrigued to see who has been cast as the White Rabbit or whether it will be entirely delegated to special effects. Nonetheless I imagine the set will be fantastic as will be the soundtrack.





Had a tiresome couple of days if I'm honest but things are picking up. I'm off to the Firehouse in Exeter with the girls tonight, hopefully it will still be warm enough to sit outside and I've also braved my new sailor-dress today (it's actually a child's size and I made the stupid mistake of wearing a padded bra with it so I think I'm coming across as a little breathless and exciteable today, somewhat damsel-in-distress-ish instead of damsel-in-tight-dress-ish.)

Still trying to think of a valid excuse for having spent £1500 of my ISA for no reason. Other little ponderings = I've decided the first song I want to learn on the piano is Sia - Breathe Me and I'm considering saving up to do a castles-tour, which basically takes you around all the beautiful castles in eastern europe (I'll write a little bit more about this next time because it really is worth going into detail for, some of these castles are breathtaking) I'll be there in my "I heart London" tshirt with a bumbag, socks and sandals and a polaroid.
